It was during the 80’s that porn flicks prospered and flourished. The 80’s was actually my favorite decade for vintage porn. In my opinion it was during this period that most of the best adult classic flicks came out. One of my favorites, and probably most memorable is Taboo. The film talks about mother and son incest. Playing the role of the mother is Kay Parker, in this movie her husband passes away and she finds herself seducing her son played by Mike Ranger. Despite the controversy that followed, the vintage porn went on to be one of the best selling adult movies ever.

So popular was this movie that it spawned countless sequels, all dealing with the same subject of incest. In my opinion, what made this movie great was not only the interesting story line, but the stars as well. Porn stars back in those days still had a certain appeal that could draw viewers right in. Todays porn stars just doesn’t have the spark their predecessors had, all they do is moan and scream and it tends to get a little boring in the long run. Taboo features stars that not only sizzles in front of the camera, but stars who know how to act, making the entire movie more interesting and captivating.

Taboo is what I would call a classic porn film. Even now, I haven’t found or watched an adult film that could compare to the intensity that only a film like Taboo can deliver. Porn flicks today doesn’t even contain any trace of a story line. It’s all we meet up, go to my place, you give me a good oral, and I bang you senseless. In some sense, Taboo offered a story line good enough for you to follow, and interesting enough to keep you glued, the steamy sex scenes are a different story altogether. So, if you are talking about vintage porn or classic porn, your selection will not be complete without Taboo.
