Vintage porn has established a benchmark on how adult entertainment should be, with lots of penetration all over the place. However, it was a matter of time before someone else would expand the conventions of such entertainment. One of these figures is Adam Glasser – popularly known as Seymour Butts – as he revolutionized porn by producing a string of first-person, reality-based films that came to be known as “gonzo” porn.

His first foray in vintage porn came when he lent a gym he owned to an adult film producer. After seeing porn from behind the scenes for the first time, he quit his job as a personal trainer and immersed himself in the world of adult entertainment. Glasser had to pay his dues as a newbie in the business by appearing as a supporting actor on several vintage porn flicks in the ’80s, most notably in a video from Buttman’s Ultimate Adventure.

After his vintage porn pursuits, Glasser adopted the pseudonym Seymour Butts and began etching a career as an adult filmmaker. Whereas vintage porn primarily focused on penises and pussies, Seymour made films about the ass, as The Adventures of Seymour Butts would suggest. His light and off-the-cuff films were made with only a camera on his hand, and disregard to location set-up and actual dialogue, characteristics that typify gonzo porn.

Glasser took his obsession with the ass even further with Tushy Girls, an adult film series featuring anally-starved actress in high-quality porn. He received infamy with the release of Tampa Tush Fest where a guy dishing off vaginal fisting action on two women happened to be taboo in the American market. However, the court case only paved the way for more adult videos featuring fisting to be released in the States.

The most recent project of Glasser came in“Family Businesses,” a television series that showed one of the biggest personalities in the American adult entertainment in his normal ruses. As the show gained popularity, Glasser deserves even more recognitive, at the very least, considering the impressive body of work he has contributed in the world of vintage porn.
