It was more than five years ago when I last watched “Debbie Does Dallas.” It was fun watching it again and this time, scrutinizing with more intent and appreciation. “Debbie Does Dallas” is about a group of cheerleaders who helped out one of their members -Debbie (played by Bambi Woods)- to get enough money to make it to Texas to become a professional cheerleader for the “Cowgirls”. (loosely based on the real life “Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders”) Debbie was one day lured by her boss Mr. Green (Robert Kerman) into showing her breasts; in exchange, he will be paying her ten dollars for it. Letting him touch it was an extra 10 bucks and another 10 for letting him fondle it with his mouth. That’s when the cheerleaders realized that they can actually earn money easier if they would use their bodies into various sexual exploits!

Some scenes of “Debbie does Dallas was shot in Brooklyn College and Pratt Institute in New York. The use of the latter location was claimed to have not been known by the school administration until the movie was released. But hey, they really can’t do anything about it now, right? And besides, a lot of colleges these days have been doing screenings on their theaters, probably for film appreciation class. It was rated by several colleges with an “R” rating.
